This heart still has some undigested tissue surrounding the left ventricle rubber core (green). Also, there is some "ballooning" of the vessels which is an artifact of the injection process, since high pressure is necessary to push the rubber through the vasculature. The dotted line depicts the region where the LCA and RCA branches meet - it is evident from the previous two pictures that this region encircles the heart sagitally. It is very likely that the branches of the RCA and LCA do anastomose at a microscopic level.
